A tractor operated shredder cum pulverizer is used to convert agricultural residues such as coconut fronds, banana stems, maize stalks, cotton stalks, sugarcane trash, palm waste, and tree branches into small shredded or pulverized material that can be used for composting, vermicompost production, mulching, or biomass applications. Most models are PTO-driven and require 35–45 HP or higher tractors.
