How to Use

Dry the husk or coir pith completely.

Spread it 4–6 inches thick on the poultry floor.

After use as bedding, coconut husk + poultry manure becomes a high-quality organic fertilizer.
What it provides:

Good carbon-to-nitrogen balance (coconut husk = carbon, poultry manure = nitrogen)

Improved soil structure when applied to fields
You can also do vermicomposting with the mixture.

Tender coconut inner soft shell powder (not hard shell) can be added in small amounts to poultry feed as fiber.

It improves digestion but should be <5% of the feed.
Hard coconut shell is NOT suitable for poultry feed.

Tender coconut shells can be converted into biochar, which is useful in poultry farms:
